UN Office for Drugs and Crime

The UN Office for Drugs and Crime (UNODC) will organise the first session of constructive dialogues for the review of the UN Convention against Transnational Organized Crime (UNTOC) and the Protocols thereto. They call upon a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives of the private sector, academia and NGOs to join the constructive dialogues.

The constructive dialogues will take place on three different dates. The one regarding migrants smuggling and human trafficking is scheduled for 1 July 2022. Interested organizations may apply until 8 May 2022 through this link.

The constructive dialogues are convened to brief participants on the development and outcomes of the UN review process; to collect inputs and suggestions from participants, including their contributions on ways to improve the implementation of the Convention and the Protocols thereto.

The Constructive Dialogues will be held in English language and in a hybrid format at the Vienna International Centre. UNODC has limited resources to support the participation of grassroots organizations and victim-led /victim-focused organizations.
