In light of the adoption of the EU Corporate Sustainability Due Dilligence Directive (CSDDD), the OECD has published a guidance explaining how multinational companies can implement due diligence while conducting their business activities (either in their own nations) or across borders.
The guidance explains in easy terms how proper due diligence meassures can be implemented in companies and delves into how such meassures need to be adapted to a companies sector, size, business model and position in the supply chain. The OECD has also published sector specific guidance for due diligence for the extractive-, financial-, agriculture-, mineral- and garment sector.
