On the 2nd of december 2019 La Strada International (LSI), the Platform for International Cooperation on Undocumented Migrants (PICUM) and Victim Support Europe (VSE) organised an event for MEPs on compensation and complaints mechanisms up actions; a report on this event as well as blog written by PICUM are now available. The 3 organisations have taken follow up actions, including letters to MEPs, to ensure adequate remedies are available for undocumented migrants. The advocacy focused on ensuring that new thematic EU funding (AMIF and EFS) will be made available for complaint mechanisms of undocumented workers.
