Recently the court documents regarding the Jeffrey Epstein case (Epstein Files) were unsealed, granting insights into his case and naming his high-level social contacts and affected victims in over 1000 pages.
The vast scope of his crimes is a reminder of the hidden reality of human trafficking. Seeing how long he was able to operate undetected and unpunished, shows not only the challenges in uncovering and combating trafficking crimes, but also makes clear that likely he was not acting alone and some of his contacts should have been aware of the criminal activities. The documents identify around 150 people who were in contact with him. It is hoped that the files lead to further investigations, to do justice to all his victims.
See video below that provides more information on the unsealing of the files and its importance.
