HopeNow

HopeNow is an independent non-governmental organisation (NGO) with a mandate to combat human trafficking under the Danish Action Plan. It is a diverse organisation that relies heavily on volunteers in all spheres, from outreach and fundraising to the administration and the board. HopeNow usually has approximately 20 engaged individuals devoting their time to the organisation on a voluntary basis and one fulltime paid staff. Approximately 20% of the team is male, 80% is female and with different ethnic backgrounds. The team is multidisciplinary includes both practitioners and academic experts from the fields of e.g. migration, law, anthropology, social policy, social work, trauma therapy, cultural mediation, IT and more.
