PAG-ASA Organises a Week of Awareness Events in Brussels

To mark the EU Anti-Trafficking Day, PAG-ASA is organising “La Semaine contre la traite des êtres humains” in Brussels, offering a moment for reflection, dialogue, and awareness.

From 13 to 18 October 2025, PAG-ASA will host a series of events to inform the public about human trafficking, the challenges faced by trafficked persons, and the Belgian protection system.

On 15–16 October, PAG-ASA will organise a range of awareness-raising activities, including public film screenings, training sessions for professionals, and a photo exhibition showcasing different aspects of human trafficking.

Later in the month, on 20 October, PAG-ASA will join forces with Payoke, the Belgian National Rapporteur, and the Ministry of Justice to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Belgium’s anti-trafficking law. The event will bring together practitioners and policymakers to reflect on progress made, current challenges, and future priorities for strengthening Belgium’s response to human trafficking.
