This year, La Strada Moldova is conducting a comprehensive information campaign dedicated to EU Anti-Trafficking Day (18 October), raising awareness about human trafficking and exploitation across the country.
As part of this campaign, La Strada Moldova has organized three thematic seminars in vocational schools and two workshops for students of pedagogical universities located in Chișinău and Bălți.
The first workshop took place on 7 October 2025 at the Pedagogical University of Chișinău, bringing together 82 students for an interactive discussion on preventing and identifying trafficking situations.
In addition, La Strada Moldova will join forces with key partners – the IOM Mission to Moldova and the State Chancellery of the Republic of Moldova / Permanent Secretariat of the National Committee to Combat Trafficking in Human Beings – to take part in a public art exhibition showcasing the true stories of trafficked persons.
This exhibition will be held in three regional centres — Criuleni, Ocnița, and Strășeni — accompanied by thematic seminars for local public authorities in these administrative-territorial units.
Beyond this partnership, La Strada Moldova will also organise five additional informative seminars for schoolchildren and university students, reinforcing its commitment to prevention and public awareness.
