La Strada Czech Republic in cooperation with the Office of the Public Defender of Rights, and with the support of UNICEF, UNHCR, and the Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic, is hosting a unique exhibition titled “The Truth in Crayon – Human Trafficking through the Eyes of Young Artists.”
The exhibition presents a collection of comics and posters created by students from art schools across the Czech Republic, who explore the issue of human trafficking, particularly of children, through visual storytelling.
These works, originally submitted to an art competition held in 2024, reflect the sensitivity, creativity, and social awareness of a young generation determined to speak out against modern slavery. Through their art, the students invite the public to engage in dialogue about human rights and the protection of children from exploitation.
The exhibition’s opening takes place on 21 October 2025 at 18:00, in the Refectory U Františkánů (entrance from the Franciscan Garden), symbolically close the European Anti-Trafficking Day. It will run until 18 November 2025, coinciding with the World Day for the Prevention of Child Abuse and Exploitation.
