- Additional information contains the synthesis of a survey conducted at national
level in Austria, Poland and Italy to monitor educational materials on
trafficking in human beings especially for the purpose of sexual exploitation,
that are addressed to high school students. These materials are produced
and available for use in the school system of the above mentioned
three Countries.
Additional information
strives to provide teachers with some tools to deepen their knowledge
and awareness as well as to get updated information on the issue of
trafficking in human beings for the purpose of sexual exploitation.
In the first part Additional information provides some examples, when
available, of educational activities dealing with trafficking in human beings
carried out by social actors, such as local institutions, NGOs, research
centres, etc...
A second part provides links to web resources on the trafficking in human
beings and victims’ human rights. The list, according to the situation of
Countries, includes web-sites of both local and national institutions, as
well as NGOs that are active on prevention, assistance, training, awareness-
raising, and reintegration. The online pages provide updated information
on programs and activities carried out by all stakeholders. In the third
part, an essential bibliography ends each national part.
The three parts covering Austria, Italy, and Poland, are presented in the
respective language.
The contents of this Additional information are also presented in English in
a short abstract (Summary) for each of the three countries in the single national
